The Jorge Jaber Clinic, affiliated to the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), has for over 10 years been active in the field of prevention and treatment of mental health disorders. We focus on four principal and connected areas:

1. Prevention – This is the first step in tackling drug misuse. With this in mind, our clinic has developed a program of lectures delivered in schools, community associations and churches, as well as the Company Program, which aims to provide information about the risks involved in the use of chemical substances by employees and staff.

2. Treatment – We offer treatment for all types of psychologial/psychiatric pathlogies (depression, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, obesity, anorexia, bulimia, schizophrenia etc.) as well as chemical dependence (tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, solvents etc).

3. Teaching – The Jorge Jaber Clinic runs a Psychotherapy/Chemical Dependence Counselling Training Course. We also hold a Continuing Education Program (PEC) aimed at professionals who are already working in the field and wish to update their knowledge and skills.

4. Research – In the search for constant improvement in the quality of its services the Jorge Jaber Clinic carries out research in order to develop new and improved treatment methods. The results of such research are published and/or presented nationally and internationally.
